Women’s counselling centres and rape crisis centres support women and girls who are experiencing or have experienced violence. Only women work in our centres. You may contact us about a variety of issues. We provide advice on sexual harassment and rape, attacks and cyberbullying, violence in relationships and families, stalking and psychological violence.
We listen to you. We answer your questions. We tell you what was helpful for others, and together we can work out what will help you.
You can drop into our centres, call us or send an e-mail. Counselling is free of charge. You don’t need to give your name. We will tell nobody that you have come by or written to us. We will not pass on anything.
All women and girls may come to see us, irrespective of their age, the language they speak or whether they are disabled or not.
No one has the right to use violence against you.
Get help – our film shows how this works.
The bff is the federal association of rape crisis centres and women’s counselling centres.
This umbrella organisation incorporates more than 170 rape crisis centres and women’s counselling centres throughout the whole of Germany. They provide counselling for women and girls who are experiencing or have experienced violence.
We denounce violence against women and girls, get involved in political decision-making processes, and exert influence through public relations and actions.
The bff conducts seminars and conferences, disseminates expertise from practice and research and develops information material.
The bff also runs the “Suse – safe and self-determined”. project. On www.suse-hilft.de you can learn more about violence against women and girls with disabilities, get help and find contact persons near you – regardless of whether you are disabled or not.
